A netizen accused SEVENTEEN Joshua of holding a live broadcast and chatting with fans while at his lover’s house.
Recently, a Twitter user published several screenshots, claiming that SEVENTEEN Joshua held a live broadcast at his alleged girlfriend’s house.
In particular, they brought up a Weverse live broadcast of Joshua on August 26th, 2021, and zoomed into the background. Then, they attached photos previously published by model Cho Mi Young – Joshua’s alleged girlfriend, and claimed that Joshua’s background looks similar to Cho Mi Young’s house.
The same Twitter user also wrote, “Is this real… He held a Weverse Live and filmed a content during self-quarantine at his girlfriend’s house? Was that when she was traveling, Joshua? Did you turn on the live to show her how well you are taking care of her house?”
“Fans were so excited when you held a Weverse Live to make bracelets, even praising the decor? But now… it turns out to be the girlfriend’s place? Ah…”, they added.
Upon seeing this newly-emerged accusation, netizens have shown mixed reactions. While some continue to criticize Joshua, many said they were unable to find the similarity between the male idol’s background and Cho Mi Young’s house.
On the other hand, SEVENTEEN Joshua is embroiled in dating rumors with model Cho Mi Young after netizens pointed out alleged “matching items” as well as “Lovestagram” of the two. In addition, a woman with similar clothes and appearance to Cho Mi Young was spotted in the front row of SEVENTEEN’s recent concert, “Follow to Seoul”.
