“Seven” producer compares BTS Jungkook to Justin Timberlake breaking out of NSync

BTS Jungkook has received high praise from the producers of “Seven”, who have Grammy-winning backgrounds.

Recently, the US-based economic media outlet Forbes revealed interviews with Andrew Watt and Cirkut, 2 producers of Jungkook’s solo single “Seven”. It is known that Andrew Watt and Cirkut have previously worked with top tier pop stars such as Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Camila Cabello, and so on.

According to Forbes, the producer duo were greatly excited about the immediate success of “Seven”, which has dominated the Billboard’s main single chart “Hot 100” and topped major global music platforms for an extended period, a feat even difficult for global pop stars.

Regarding how they came to produce “Seven” for Jungkook, Cirkut revealed that after finishing the song’s lyrics and music, they played it for their teams, and Jungkook’s name emerged.

Meanwhile, Watt mentioned Scooter Braun, the CEO of HYBE America, saying, “Scooter was the one that actually said this could be the biggest song in the world if Jungkook sings it,”

In the end, the song was sent to HYBE, and although “Seven” took at least a year to create, the selection of Jungkook as the vocalist progressed rapidly.

Mentioning the BTS member, Andrew Watt acknowledged Jungkook as “one of the biggest stars” he has ever met, who has “got so much swag” and is “so cool, down to earth, and respectful”.

At the same time, Cirkut echoed these praises, describing Jungkook as “super sweet”, “super talented” and “humble”.

According to Watt, due to the language barrier, he and Cirket didn’t manage to say much in conversation with Jungkook. However, they were able to have a “full-on dialogue” through music, leading to a smooth recording for “Seven”.

Andrew Watt then compared Jungkook to Justin Timberlake breaking out of Nsync, citing that they are both talents that emerged from boy bands and enjoys global success. He also further described Jungkook as kind, respectful, sweet, and a hard worker, who’s now, incredibly, “an American superstar”.

On the other hand, Forbes also heaped praise on Jungkook, calling the male idol “not just a member of the biggest band in the world but a hitmaker in his own right”.

It is also known that back in his collaboration with singer-songwriter Charlie Puth for “Left and Right”, Charlie Puth also called Jungkook a humble genius with perfect vocals.
