Achieving over 500 million accumulated views on TikTok, “R U Next” is getting hotter ahead of its end

The heat of JTBC’s survival program “R U Next?” has gradually increased as it entered the second half.

“R U Next?” is a program to selects members to debut in the next global group under BELIFT LAB. With only three episodes left, the trainees are competing fiercely and growing to complete their journal of youth. Gaining full support from domestic and overseas viewers, “R U Next?” is going viral on social media.

Round 5’s “Color Mission” performance videos exceeded 1 million views

In episode 7, 15 trainees were divided into three units of five members each to complete the “Color Mission” of Round 5, which was organized to test how the trainees’ understanding of concepts. Red Unit performed Red Velvet Irene&Seulgi’s “Monster”, Purple Unit presented Oh My Girl’s “SSFWL”, and Green Unit staged 2NE1’s “I Don’t Care”. Showcasing each unit’s charm and individuality, all three stages attracted more than 1 million views within only three days after the broadcast.

3rd Global Vote has gained nearly 10 million votes

The 3rd global vote for “R U Next?”, which was conducted through the global fan community platform Weverse and the mobile app Toss, gathered a total of 9,945,678 votes (counting from July 21st to August 10th). This number surpassed the votes of the 1st and 2nd voting periods, proving that the program is arousing more and more attention from the public.

TikTok videos’ cumulative views surpassed 500 million 

Even before its first broadcast, “R U Next?” has released various content to allow viewers to see the off-stage charms of the trainees. Wearing casual clothes, the trainees enjoy doing dance challenges in various unit combinations. In particular, the number of views from videos using the hashtag “runext” has exceeded 500 million as of August 14th, proving the show’s hot popularity/
