AOA member Seolhyun faced unexpected criticism.
On January 12th, Seolhyun posted a question on her Instagram story to ask fans for Netflix recommendations. It was Seolhyun’s daily post as she communicates with fans frequently through Instagram. However, the story was deleted due to unexpected criticism from netizens.
The selfie Seolhyun took with monkeys she used for the story was the problem. In the photo, one monkey appears to be sniffing the anus of another lying down monkey. Against this backdrop, Seolhyun was smiling brightly.
Seolhyun later took down this story. It is speculated that she also recognized the criticism of some netizens. Other netizens defended Seolhyun, saying that it was an over-interpretation.
Seolhyun recently announced a new start after terminating her exclusive contract with FNC Entertainment, her longtime agency.
