On May 20, Allure Korea uploaded a new video featuring Seo In-young, marking one of her latest public appearances following her return to activities. During the interview, the singer opened up about her past controversies, regrets, and hopes for future collaborations.
While discussing artists she would like to work with, Seo In-young mentioned Gain and shared her desire to perform together someday.
She said, “I think it would be nice if smaller artists put on a stage together. We may be small, but we still have a lot to offer,” sending a friendly “love call” toward Ga-in.
Her remarks quickly drew attention due to the pair’s previously known tension.
Seo In-young also revisited the controversy surrounding an old appearance on MBC’s Radio Star, where Gain had mentioned feeling upset during a past interaction involving fellow Brown Eyed Girls member Narsha.
At the time, Seo In-young responded emotionally through social media, posting a lengthy message criticizing Gain’s comments. The incident became widely discussed online and contributed to public scrutiny of Seo In-young’s outspoken personality.
“Why did I write all of that in such detail?” she said, calling her past behavior embarrassing.

She also revealed that writer and broadcaster Heo Ji-woong once jokingly called her afterward and told her to “at least use spacing” when posting online.
Seo In-young explained that although she and Gain had already reconciled privately, she had never properly apologized publicly.
She then delivered a direct message to Gain through the video, saying: “I’m sincerely sorry for even posting that message.”
The apology has since attracted attention among fans, especially as both singers have experienced periods away from the spotlight due to controversies and hiatuses.

Her recent online activity has sparked renewed interest in a possible entertainment comeback.
With Seo In-young now openly expressing support and reconciliation, some fans are hopeful the two artists could eventually reunite for a future collaboration.
