“Say That It’s Love” Lee Sung Kyung, “I and Kim Young Kwang acted together comfortably since we’re as close as brother and sister”
Actress Lee Sung Kyung talked about her co-star Kim Young Kwang.
Asia-Pacific region (APAC) content lineup was unveiled at the 2022 Disney Content Showcase APAC held at Marina Bay Sands EXPO Convention Center in Singapore on November 30th. Director Lee Kwang Young, Kim Young Kwang and Lee Sung Kyung attended the showcase.
“Say That It’s Love”, starring Kim Young Kwang and Lee Sung Kyung, was named in the lineup. Director Lee said, “There’s no big accident in which people get killed, but there’s also no fake details. A realistic story will be unfolded, so please look forward to it.”
Regarding Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Kwang’s chemistry, director Lee said, “There’s no need to mention their visual chemistry. When I first appeared on the filming set, they appeared in front of my eyes like real Shim Woo Joo and Han Dong Jin. The way these amazing actors portray such ordinary characters was really impressive.”
Lee Sung Kyung also mentioned her chemistry with Kim Young Kwang, saying “I’ve known Kim Young Kwang for a long time, and we’re like brother and sister. That’s why we could act comfortably. When I saw Young Kwang oppa appear as Han Dong Jin on the set, I felt like seeing that character in real life and immediately got immersed in the mood.”
Kim Young Kwang also shared, “We’ve been friends since a really long time ago. I received a lot of help from her when she showed up as her character in ‘Say That It’s Love’.”
