IVE won Best New Female Artist at the 2022 MAMA AWARDS, “We released 3 singles this year. Our members worked so hard”
IVE was honored with Best New Female Artist at the 2022 MAMA AWARDS.
On Day 2 of the 2022 MAMA AWARDS held at Kyocera Dome Osaka, Japan on the evening of November 30th, IVE was announced as the winner of BEST NEW FEMALE ARTIST.
Delivering their acceptance speech, IVE said, “We’re really thankful to DIVE (IVE’s fandom). We want to thank our agency family for their hard work so that we were able to release three singles in the past year. Our members also worked very hard”.
Japanese member Rei added, “This is the first time IVE attended the MAMA AWARDS. Since the award ceremony is held in Japan, I feel even more honored. I’m also nervous. DIVE, thank you for always supporting us. We did our best to prepare for the stage today. Please look forward to it”, expressing her feelings.
Jang Won Young also thanked fans with her fluent English.
