Reporter-turned-Youtuber Lee Jin-ho, “Kim Seon-ho’s ex-girlfriend sued 1000 netizens… The settlement amount alone is 1 billion won”
It is recently revealed that Kim Seon-ho’s ex-girlfriend (A) sued a netizen who posted malicious comments.
On August 24th, a video titled “The shocking update in Kim Seon-ho’s ex-girlfriend’s whereabouts” was uploaded on the Youtube channel of former reporter Lee Jin-ho.
In the released video, Lee Jin-ho talked about the recent status of A, who made the revelation about Kim Seon-ho’s private life. Earlier in October last year, A posted an article exposing Kim Seon-ho’s private life issue on an online community, sparking controversy.
Later, A said, “There was a time when I and that person loved each other sincerely and I’m also not happy seeing him collapse in a moment due to parts of my aggressive writings” then deleted the revelation.
Referring to A, Lee Jin-ho said, “I was contacted by an informant in June. The information I received was about a netizen being sued by A for insulting. This netizen posted malicious comments in the comment section on portal sites.”
Lee Jin-ho revealed that there were a lot of reports about being sued by A. According to the results of the collection of news, A sued 1,000 netizens for 3,000 malicious comments.
Lee Jin-ho said, “Since so many people have been sued, many of the informants speculated, ‘I heard her purpose of doing that was the settlement money’. I checked this with some people who know about laws and found that if you get sued for insulting, you can be fined from 500,000 won to 1 million won”, adding “In the case of being confirmed guilty, you can even be sued and obliged to pay compensation for damages as a civil case.”
He continued, “In the case of A, who sued more than 1,000 people, the amount of penalty would be at least 1 billion won”, adding “Legal officials have also raised suspicions, saying ‘I wonder if her purpose was the settlement money”.
