Ren confirmed to join the cast of “Waiting For You For A Long Time”, taking on drama acting challenge 10 years after his debut

Singer-actor Ren (Choi Min Gi) will appear in a new drama.

According to an official in the entertainment industry on November 8th, Ren recently confirmed his appearance in a new drama called “Waiting For You For A Long Time” (working title) and is currently filming it.

“Waiting For You For A Long Time” is a crime mystery drama that tells the story of Detective Oh. Earlier, the casting news of other actors, such as Na In Woo, Kim Ji Eun, Lee Kyu Han and Kwon Yul, had already been reported.

Above all, Ren will officially make his drama acting debut through “Waiting For You For A Long Time” 10 years after he started his career in the entertainment industry. Ren was introduced for the first time in 2012 as a member of the boy group NU’EST and gained huge love for his extraordinary visual and charms. After the group disbanded in March 2022, Ren decided to expand his activities.

Attention is focused on the new appearance Ren, who has proved his acting skills through various musicals, such as “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie”, “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”, “Bungee Jumping of Their Own”, and “The Three Musketeers”, will present in the drama.

Meanwhile, Ren held his first solo fancon “THE DAY AFTER” in Korea on November 6th and will perform another fancon in Japan on November 12th. The broadcasting schedule of “Waiting For You For A Long Time” is still undecided.
