Red Velvet Wendy showed extraordinary ‘fighting spirit’ even when wearing an eye patch to support the solo debut of Seulgi

Red Velvet’s Wendy showed her support for teammate Seulgi.

Seulgi held an online press conference at 2 p.m on October 4th to commemorate the release of her first solo album “28 Reasons”. Member Wendy appeared as the host of this event.

Wendy appeared at the press conference wearing an eye patch. She said, “I came here with an eye patch, but that’s because I’ve got a sty in my eye”, adding “Still, it’s Seulgi’s press conference today. I should come even when dirt came into my eyes, right? I’m sorry if you were surprised by this. The fighting spirit of eye patch”, drawing attention with her affection for Seulgi.

Seulgi’s first solo album “28 Reasons”, which was released 8 years after her debut in 2014, has a total of 6 songs, including the title track of the sanem name, “Dead Man Runnin’”, “Bad Boy, Sad Girl”, “Anywhere But Home”, “Los Angeles” and “Crown”.

The title song “28 Reasons” is a pop dance song composed with groovy, heavy bass and whistling sounds. Its lyrics feature a character, in which good and evil coexist, showing pure interest and mischievous playfulness toward the person she likes, raising questions about the numerous reasons surrounding a relationship.

Seulgi’s first solo album was released at 6 p.m on the same day.
