Reason Kim Jong-kook Doesn’t Take Off His Clothes On ‘Running Man’, “Due To The Atmosphere”

Kim Jong-kook explained why he covers his body all the time only in “Running Man”

SBS’s “Running Man” broadcast on October 29th opened with the members delivering their whereabouts

The members expressed their interest in Kim Jong-kook’s recent photoshoot. What drew particular attention was that Kim Jong-kook even took off his top.

Kim Jong-kook then explained, “We originally didn’t plan to reveal my body. I wasn’t prepared for that”. He continued, “I said I didn’t want to show it but the writer asked if I could open my shirt a little bit. Then the staff suddenly were like ‘Oh~~~’ and created an atmosphere that encouraged me to do a little more. That’s why I took off my top”

Upon hearing that, the members teased Kim Jong-kook, saying “You should have gone topless”. Kim Jong-kook shyly corrected, “My body was revealed a little bit in the actual photo”.

Ji Seok-jin commented, “You take off your clothes everywhere except on this show”, pointing out that Kim Jong-kook only covers himself up on “Running Man”.

In response, Kim Jong-kook explained, “It’s a little bit different here. Doesn’t our show have a cheerful, lovely and nice atmosphere?”. The members reacted, “What are you talking about? When were we cheerful, lovely, and nice?”, adding “This show is full of betrayals due to jealousy and secret fights”.
