Netizens are divided over some outfits of TWICE members in this comeback.
On August 26th, TWICE’s Momo posted new photos of her in a concept outfit for TWICE’s new song on Instagram. Momo was wearing a light purple bra top. Her bra top outfit was made of see-through lace material and padded with skin-tone lining on the inside, creating an optical illusion that at first glance, it looks like she was only wearing underwear. Her bottoms are also bold as she layered tight shorts with a garter belt.
Some other TWICE members such as Jihyo and Mina also showed off sexy outfits with a similar concept through their respective Instagram accounts.
Korean netizens have mixed reactions to this. A netizen posted about TWICE’s outfits on an online community, saying, “TWICE’s outfits are too revealing. This comeback has a fresh concept, so I think it would have been pretty if there was less exposure… Of course, they wouldn’t go on stage like that, but…”
In the comments, other netizens agreed, saying:
- “No matter what the concept is, isn’t that just wearing underwear? There were a lot of talks about TWICE’s revealing clothes before, but it’s getting worse”

On the other hand, there were also netizens who defended TWICE. They left comments opposing the negative reactions such as:

Meanwhile, TWICE made a comeback with the new mini album “Between 1&2” on August 26th. In their 7th year since debut, all members of TWICE have recently succeeded in renewing their contracts with JYP.
