“Please live…” The recent status of the manager who used to make Cha Tae-hyun cry in the past

Cha Tae-hyun and Shin Seung-hwan’s “tragicomic” past video was revealed.

On May 12th, the YouTube account “BACKENT – SBS’ old entertainment contents” uploaded a surprise camera video of Cha Tae-hyun. This is a segment of SBS-TV’s “Our Happy Saturday” which aired in June 1999.

In the video, you can see Cha Tae-hyun’s young face. And there was a familiar figure. It was Shin Seung-hwan. Shin Seung-hwan was Cha Tae-hyun’s road manager at the time. You can see the bickering chemistry between the two.

Shin Seung-hwan was more sensitive than usual for the surprise camera. He went off on his own under the pretext of schedule.

Afterwards, Cha Tae-hyun heard about Shin Seung-hwan’s car accident. He checked Shin Seung-hwan’s condition and could not even raise his head. Cha Tae-hyun hugged Shin Seung-hwan’s face and expressed his feelings. He prayed, “Seung-hwan, this may be the last prayer in my life, but please live.”

But all of this was a surprise camera. When he found out that it was a lie, he sat down and shed tears of relief.

Shin Seung-hwan became an actor after working as Cha Tae-hyun’s manager. He appeared in movies “The Battleship Island”, “The Witness”, “The Golden Holiday” and dramas “Vagabond”, “Dr. Romantic”, “Monster”.

His friendship with Cha Tae-hyun is strong. He proved this by appearing in the same dramas and movies with Cha Tae-hyun, as well as appearing in both seasons 1 and 2 of tvN’s “Unexpected Business” featuring Cha Tae-hyun.
