On December 16, Park Na-rae released an official video statement via a YouTube channel, addressing accusations ranging from workplace abuse and embezzlement to illegal medical procedures.
Standing against a plain white background dressed in black, she stated, “I take seriously the concern and fatigue these issues have caused many people.” However, she emphasized that she is proceeding through legal channels rather than addressing the claims directly.
“There are aspects that require calm verification of facts, so legal procedures are currently underway,” she said, adding that she would refrain from making further public explanations. She stressed that the situation should be judged objectively through official processes, not personal emotions or relationships.

From the day of the video’s release, Park Na-rae announced she would suspend all activities to focus on resolving the controversy. “I will reflect on my responsibilities and attitude in my place,” she said, thanking those who have supported her while making clear she would not comment further to avoid fueling additional controversy.
Despite the gravity of the accusations, the two-minute-and-21-second video contained no direct apology or expression of remorse. Instead, her repeated emphasis on legal proceedings gave off what many viewers interpreted as a firm and defiant stance.
The controversy began on December 3, when former managers sought a provisional seizure of about 100 million KRW, accusing Park Na-rae of workplace harassment, forced personal errands, proxy prescriptions, and unpaid expenses. Two days later, they filed criminal complaints alleging special injury, defamation, and violations of the Information and Communications Network Act.

The managers claimed they were made to handle personal errands for “Na-rae Bar” gatherings, attend drinking sessions, remain on 24-hour standby, and perform domestic tasks. They also alleged that while Park Na-rae’s mother and ex-boyfriend received full social insurance coverage, the managers were treated as freelancers with no contracts.
Further controversy arose over alleged illegal medical treatment. The Korean Medical Association reportedly confirmed that an individual known as “Injection Aunt,” who allegedly administered IV drips to Park Na-rae for years, lacks a domestic medical license and even accompanied her on overseas schedules.
Channel A later reported that Park Na-rae brought the individual to Taiwan during a 2023 overseas shoot without approval and allegedly asked her manager to keep the matter quiet.
As accusations continue to pile up, Park Na-rae’s decision to pursue legal action without issuing an apology has further polarized public opinion. With criminal complaints and counterclaims now underway, the case is shaping up to be a prolonged legal battle one that may significantly impact her career and public image.
