On December 16, Park Na-rae delivered a video statement to Ilgan Sports, opening with, “Hello, this is comedian Park Na-rae.” She continued, “I take very seriously the concern and fatigue that the recently raised issues have caused many people.”
She confirmed that she has voluntarily withdrawn from all programs she was appearing on. “I made this decision because I did not want to cause further confusion or burden to production teams or my colleagues,” she explained.

Regarding the allegations currently surrounding her, Park Na-rae said, “There are aspects that require calm verification of the facts, so I am proceeding through legal channels.” She added that she would refrain from making further public statements during the process. “This is not a matter of personal emotions or relationships, but one that must be objectively confirmed through official procedures,” she emphasized.
She further clarified, “This decision is not about blaming anyone or assigning responsibility. It is about excluding emotion and personal judgment and allowing the issue to be resolved through due process.”
Expressing concern over the ongoing public discourse, Park Na-rae said she did not want anyone else to be hurt or for the situation to escalate into unnecessary controversy. “For now, I plan to halt all activities and focus on resolving this matter. I will reflect on my responsibilities and attitude in my place,” she said, adding that she would need time and patience to see the process through. She concluded by thanking those who have supported her and stated that she would not comment further after the release of the video.

The controversy began earlier this month when two former managers, identified as A and B, filed for provisional seizure of property and announced plans to seek damages against Park Na-rae. They accused her of multiple offenses, including workplace harassment, sexual harassment, illegal proxy prescriptions, delayed payment of personal expenses, special injury, and embezzlement.
In response, Park Na-rae’s side countered on December 5, claiming the former managers had demanded additional compensation amounting to 10% of the company’s previous year’s revenue after already receiving severance pay. The demanded amount reportedly escalated to several hundred million won. Her legal team subsequently filed a complaint against A and B on charges of extortion.
Following that move, A and B filed criminal complaints against Park Na-rae with Gangnam Police Station, accusing her of special injury, defamation through false information, and violations of the Information and Communications Network Act. They also reported her for alleged embezzlement under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes, claiming she used company funds for personal purposes.

Adding to the controversy, reports surfaced alleging illegal medical practices after Park Na-rae was said to have received IV injections from an individual referred to as a “injection aunt.” Her side responded by stating that they believed the individual to be a licensed medical professional.
Amid the exchange of legal actions, both parties reportedly met face-to-face in the early hours of December 8. Later that morning, Park Na-rae posted on social media saying that “misunderstandings and distrust had been resolved,” while also announcing a suspension of broadcast activities. However, one former manager refuted this, stating that although discussions took place, there was neither an apology nor a settlement.
As legal complaints and counter-complaints continue, the case remains under investigation, with Park Na-rae choosing to step back from the spotlight until the matter is formally resolved.
