On December 9, Park Na-rae’s former manager who previously accused her of workplace abuse, coercive behavior, and misconduct spoke with Channel A and firmly denied Park Na-rae’s claim that the two sides had resolved their misunderstanding during a three-hour conversation.

“We did talk for about three hours, but I did not receive an apology, and there was no agreement of any kind,” the former manager stated.

According to the manager, when they confronted Park Na-rae about the situation: “We told her we’ve endured this for a month and can’t tolerate it anymore. Park Na-rae responded, ‘Then let’s sue.’”

The manager added they were shocked to read Park Na-rae’s public statement claiming that misunderstandings had been cleared: “It felt like she only met me to prepare her official statement. It seems like an attempt to buy time and shift public opinion.”

Park Na-rae previously denied accusations of special assault, verbal abuse, and illegal proxy prescriptions, stating on December 5 that her former managers had demanded “10% of the previous year’s revenue even after receiving severance pay.”

Then on December 8, she told the public that she had met with a former manager and resolved the misunderstandings and distrust.

However, the former manager’s rebuttal has reignited the dispute, pushing public scrutiny to new heights. Park Na-rae’s team has since announced that they will release an additional statement addressing the “nurse-aunt” incident, embezzlement allegations, and other claims.

Park Na-rae has stepped down from every program she was appearing in, stating: “Until everything is resolved clearly, I have decided to suspend all broadcasting activities.”

Yet as more allegations surface, public sentiment continues to sour, casting doubt on when or if her comeback might be possible.

As the former manager publicly disputes Park Na-rae’s narrative, the scandal has entered a new phase. With additional statements expected and multiple investigations ongoing, attention is now on how Park Na-rae will respond and whether her legal team can counter the mounting allegations.
