In September 2022, dating rumors between Park Min-young and her ex-lover, Kang Jong-hyun emerged. However, the latter was reported to be a scammer who stole a vast amount of money from other people.

However, according to Dispatch on January 15, Park Min-young received 250 million won (approx 200,000 USD) from her ex-lover, as stated in an evidence used against Kang Jong-hyun’s in his indictment.
The money was transferred from Kang Jong-hyun’s affiliates to Park Min-young’s personal account.
This directly refuted the actress’ claim that she never received financial support from her ex-lover, revealing that the actress lied to the audience.
On the other hand, Kang Jong-hyun is known to have embezzled more than 60 billion won (approx 45 million USD).
Park Min-young, who recently returned in the K-drama “Marry My Husband”, initially received a lot of criticism due to her ex-lover’s scandal.
