Park Min-young apologizes for controversy surrounding ex-boyfriend “I live with regrets every day”

On Jan 1st, the press conference of tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Marry My Husband” (written by Shin Yoo-dam / directed by Park Won-guk and Han Jin-seon) was held online. Director Park Won-guk and actors Park Min-young, Na In-woo, Lee Yi-kyung, Song Ha-yoon, Lee Gi-kwang attended the event.

Park Min-young said, “Honestly, the past year was a challenging one for me, both physically and mentally. I was wondering if I could take on this project when the director called me.”

She confessed, “During that short period, I lived with regrets every day.” Park Min-young opened up about the guilt she felt to the extent that it triggered a red danger signal during a brainwave test at a mental health clinic.

Park Min-young reflected, “Those moments made me realize what my real job is, when my happy times are. It felt like a lesson that I only truly look beautiful and radiant when I’m fully immersed in acting on set, just like in the past.”

She went on to say, “I’ve accepted everything now, and I wanted to talk about the inconvenience I caused. I sincerely apologize to those who loved and cherished me.”

Park Min-young concluded, “I want to show a good image as an actress and prevent any unpleasant incidents from happening. I’ve always tried to become an actor you can be proud of for 20 years, but I regret a lot now. I’m making an effort to be better, so please watch over me.”

In September 2022, Park Min-young faced dating rumors with a man known as a “hidden wealthy man”. However, just 2 days later, she announced their breakup through her agency.

“Marry My Husband” centers around a woman who was murdered after witnessing her husband’s affair with her best friend. She returns to ten years ago and begins her second life. The drama will premiere at 8:50 PM on Jan 1st.
