Park Ji Hoon is selected as the male lead of historical drama “Love Song For Illusion”

On March 3rd, Park Ji Hoon was reportedly offered a role in the historical drama “Love Song For Illusion.” The actor is coordinating his schedule with the production team.

“Love Song For Illusion” is a fantasy historical romance drama about a man with two opposite personalities and a woman who loves him. The story centers around fresh love and a fierce obsession. The drama is based on a webtoon of the same name by Ban Ji Woon and is expected to be the second “Love in the Moonlight.” 

Director Lee Jung Seop (“Bread, Love and Dreams,” “Healer,” “Queen for Seven Days”) will direct the drama series and Yoon Kyung Ah (“Brain,” “At Eighteen”) will be the screenwriter for the drama.

Park Ji Hoon is offered the role of the man with two opposite personalities called Sajo Hyun and Ak Hee. The man holds contradictory notions of love, one based on loving a partner and one based on obsession and jealousy. 

Park Ji Hoon started out as a child actor. He later became a singer and member of the boy group Wanna One. Ji Hoon resumed his acting activities with the JTBC drama “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” (2019) and Kakao TV series “Love Revolution” (2020). In particular, the original Wavve series “Weak Hero Class 1” drew favorable reviews as “Park Ji Hoon’s Rediscovery.”
