Park Eunbin on Her Role in ‘Castaway Diva’: “I Had to Sing, Play Guitar, Swim, and Even Use Dialect… It Was Challenging”

In preparation for her role as the “Diva of the Deserted Island” in the new tvN drama ‘Castaway Diva’, Park Eunbin mentioned that she took on various challenges.

The press conference for ‘Castaway Diva’ was held online at 2 p.m. KST on October 19th.

Park Eunbin takes on the role of Seo Mok-ha in the drama, a character who spent 15 long years alone on a deserted island, with a dark view of the world, but emerges with something more valuable.

Park Eunbin commented, “I wanted to take on the role of Mok-ha with a light heart when I decided, but I realized later that there was a lot to do, and I thought, ‘I made a difficult choice,’ but I don’t regret it.”

She continued, “Mok-ha is a pure character with dreams, good at singing, plays the guitar as a hobby, needs to know how to swim in the sea for survival, and must speak in a dialect as a basic requirement. It was a new challenge for me, and there were moments of frustration, but I worked hard because it was my choice.”

‘Castaway Diva’ is a drama that tells the story of Seo Mok-ha (played by Park Eunbin), a hopeful singer who was rescued from a deserted island after 15 years and her journey to become a diva. It will premiere on October 28th.
