Overcoming lead actor’s school violence allegations, “The Uncanny Counter” to return with season 2
“The Uncanny Counter”, the highest-rated OCN series so far, will return with season 2.
On June 22nd, tvN released still cuts of the new Saturday-Sunday drama “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch”. The still cuts showed “Counters”, demon-hunters chasing evil spirits in red tracksuits.
Counters with different abilities such as psychokinesis, superhuman strength, psychometry and healing power aroused anticipation with their intense facial expressions and poses.
In particular, actor Jo Byung Gyu, who had to suspend his activities due to allegations of school violence, attracted attention by appearing with a new visual. Jo Byung Gyu, who returned after 3 years, will play the main character So Mun following season 1. Season 1’s other cast members such as Yoo Jun Sang, Kim Se Jeong, Yeom Hye Ran and Ahn Suk Hwan also took over their original roles.
