The ranking of TV search responses in the fourth week of December has been announced, drawing attention.
On Dec 29th, Good Data Corporation, a TV topic research institute, released the list of “Top 10 keywords for drama TV search responses/search issues” for week 4 of December. Good Data Corporation announces rankings of TV topics and search reactions every week based on the results of netizens’ search regarding TV programs, performers, and related issues on portal sites.
According to the announcement, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo (JTBC’s “Snowdrop”) topped the “Top 10 Keywords for Drama Search Issues” for the second consecutive week, drawing attention.
JTBC‘s Saturday-Sunday drama “Snowdrop” tells the love story of activist female college student Eun Young-ro (Jisoo) and North Korean spy Lim Suho (Jung Hae-in) against the backdrop of 1987 Korea. However, it has been embroiled in controversy debating that such setting in the drama could lead to misunderstandings such as the inclusion of spies in the democratization movement.
JTBC has made a strong move to air the 3rd to 5th episodes from Dec 24th to Dec 26th to resolve the misunderstanding regarding “Snowdrop,” but the ratings still fall every episode and the series is being shunned by the public.
Actor Lee Jun-ho (MBC‘s “The Red Sleeve“), actor Lee Joon-hyuk (SBS “Our Beloved Summer”), Lee Joon (tvN‘s “Bulgasal“), Kim Da-mi (SBS “Our Beloved Summer”), Lee Sang-woo (TV Chosun‘s “Uncle“) and Gong Seung-yeon (tvN‘s “Bulgasal“) were listed.
The top 10 drama TV search responses released at the same time has listed MBC‘s “The Red Sleeve” at 1st place, JTBC‘s “Snowdrop” in 2nd, KBS2‘s “Gentleman and Lady” in 3rd, 4th is tvN‘s “Bulgasal”, and 5th is SBS‘ “Our Beloved Summer”.
