Norazo producer criticizes “Unanswered Questions” PD for the way they reported FIFTY FIFTY case

Criticism towards SBS’s “Unanswered Questions” recent broadcast about FIFTY FIFTY controversy continues.

On August 20th, Norazo’s producer Kim Dae Hyun made a post on Naver cafe with the title “After watching ‘Unanswered Questions’”. He said, “Personally, I really wanted to feel sorry for FIFTY FIFTY, but the PD treated the case like a bad PD, and the kids must have taken actions separately from what the PD covered”, adding “Now I understand what I couldn’t understand before”.

He continued, “I guess you collected lots of information but many parts of it were not shown on the program”, adding “You knew the critical information, but did not reveal them on purpose. Were you afraid of taking responsibility for what might happen after then?”.

The producer pointed out, “I think ‘Unanswered Questions’ wanted to forcibly make it 5:5”, adding “I understand that you had no intention of reaching a conclusion anyway. However, it’s so disappointing that you tried to turn a 99:1 situation into a 50:50 one just by checking several facts and examining explanations from some people involved.”

“Unanswered Questions” recently dealt with the contract dispute between the girl group FIFTY FIFTY and their agency Attrakt (CEO Jeon Hong Joon) on the August 19th broadcast, but received criticism over their biased attitude towards FIFTY FIFTY.

On the broadcast, a man claimed himself as an Attrakt insider and accused CEO Jeon of not caring for FIFTY FIFTY members, saying “He never came to their monthly evaluations”. In response, CEO Jeon’s close acquaintance refuted the allegation through News1 and added, “The CEO refrained from doing interviews with the media, including ‘Unanswered Questions’, considering the fact that the contract lawsuit is currently ongoing.”
