NMIXX’s Sullyoon Apologized After Being Accused of Ignoring Fans & “Flirting” with Male Idols?
After getting criticized for her interactions with male idols and fans at the 2024 ISAC, NMIXX’s Sullyoon published an apology.
Recently, the 2024 Idol Star Athletics Championship (hereinafter referred to as 2024 ISAC) took place with the participation of many young idols. Fans who came to the event to support their idols in sports competitions poured reviews after the recording.
However, after the event, many fans who attended the 2024 ISAC started to make scathing remarks about NMIXX members, especially Sullyoon, accusing the girl group of spending most of their time “flirting” with male idols instead of interacting with fans.
Following these criticisms, Sullyoon sent a message via the fan communication platform Bubble, apologizing to fans.
In particular, the female idol said, “I didn’t take for granted the fact that NSWERs(fans of NMIXX) came to cheer for us, and I also should’ve treated you guys better, but I feel I was unable to do so, and for that I’m really sorry.”
“I kept thinking about how I wasn’t able to pay better attention to NSWERs even after ISAC ended. It’s not just me who was tired and frazzled. NSWERs would’ve been too, just like everyone else at ISAC”, Sullyoon also wrote, adding, “I felt like I was only thinking about myself. If there’s another schedule where we can meet like this next time, let’s make good memories then. In the future, I’ll make sure to not upset NSWERs. I’m always so grateful. I apologize and I love you.”
