Girl group NewJeans have met with idol-actress IU for the filming of YouTube show “IU’s Palette”, raising expectations.
According to a coverage by Xsports News on June 29th, NewJeans (Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein) recently completed filming for IU’s YouTube content, “IU’s Palette.”
NewJeans, who is gearing up for a comeback in July, is expected to showcase extraordinary chemistry with IU through “Palette.”
With various hit songs, such as “Hype Boy” and “Ditto”, which have become syndromes not only in Korea but also internationally, NewJeans have become a representative 4th gen Kpop girl group. Now, they are meeting with Korea’s top star IU, raising curiosity about the conversations they will have and the stage they will create.
On the other hand, NewJeans is preparing to release their second mini album, “Get Up”, on July 21st.
So far, with just the comeback teasers, the girl group have already sparked hot discussions. It is known that on July 7th, they will release the B-side “New Jeans” and one of the 3 title tracks, “Super Shy”, raising even more anticipation.
Notably, there will be 6 MVs for NewJeans’ 6 new songs, and the MV for “New Jeans” will feature a collaboration with famous cartoon series “Powerpuff Girls”.
