A new revelation has sparked heated discussion among K-pop fans after an industry insider reportedly revealed that a major collaboration involving NewJeans and fashion brand Calvin Klein was ultimately shelved.
According to set designer Gary Card, he had created a fully developed set for the campaign, including visual elements featuring NewJeans’ signature blue bunny mascot and branding installation.

However, the project was reportedly never used, despite its completed production design.
In an Instagram post, the designer shared his disappointment, writing that the set was created for a “famous girl group” but never released.
The post quickly circulated across social media and Korean communities, with fans expressing frustration over what they believe could have been a major global branding moment for the group.

The revelation has reignited debate surrounding NewJeans’ management and creative direction, with some netizens blaming HYBE and ADOR for the shelved project.
Others pointed to internal creative decisions involving Min Hee-jin, arguing that responsibility may not lie with a single party. The lack of official clarification has only intensified speculation across online communities.
Fan reactions have been largely emotional, with many expressing disappointment over what they see as a missed global opportunity for NewJeans.
At the same time, some users have urged caution, noting that the collaboration was never officially confirmed and details remain unclear.
The discussion continues to trend on platforms such as Instiz, where fans are divided between frustration, curiosity, and skepticism over the circumstances surrounding the unreleased campaign.
As of now, no official statement has been released regarding the alleged Calvin Klein collaboration.
