Singer Kang Won-rae, a member of the iconic duo Clon, is set to share a deeply emotional personal story on KBS 1 Radio’s program “All Information in the World with Yoon In-gu.”
During the broadcast, Kang Won-rae reflects on his life journey, including his long recovery after a life-changing accident in 2000 and his return to radio as a long-time DJ.
One of the most emotional highlights from the episode is Kang Won-rae’s account of his recent reunion with Koo Jun-yup in Taiwan.

According to Kang Won-rae, Koo Jun-yup went out of his way to support him during a visit to Jinbaoshan mausoleum, where the resting place of the late Barbie Hsu is located.
Despite the site being inaccessible for wheelchairs, Koo Jun-yup reportedly carried Kang Won-rae who weighs approximately 78kg so he could personally pay respects at the memorial.
The moment has drawn attention for highlighting their long-standing friendship and emotional bond.
Kang Won-rae and Koo Jun-yup’s reunion in Taiwan has been described as a powerful reminder of loyalty and compassion.

Kang Won-rae, who continues to use a wheelchair following his accident, has often spoken about overcoming adversity with the support of his family, including his wife Kim Song, who has cared for him for over a decade.
Beyond entertainment, Kang Won-rae has also been active in social issues, including disability rights and accessibility awareness.
He recently completed a doctoral dissertation focusing on improvements in the K-pop trainee system, offering insights based on his experience as part of the first generation of the Korean Wave.
