Through similar images in the MV trailer of FOR7, netizens simultaneously affirmed that they had blatantly “plagiarized” the popular Kpop group – GOT7
Vietnamese rookie group FOR7 had a controversial debut in early 2021. Right from the first steps of teasing or releasing products, FOR7 was accused of “plagiarizing” K-pop idol group GOT7, from the group’s name to the member’s introduction image concept.
Recently, the Kpop fan community expressed their displeasure when realizing that the trailer for FOR7’s new MV “Em Khong Hu Anh Khong Yeu” has many details similar to GOT7’s Poison MV.
In the revealed trailer, the FOR7 boys walked through a door together. And of course those who are Kpop fans will immediately realize that this scene is no different from the Poison MV released by GOT7 a year ago.
From the scene where the members take turns looking at the camera to the ending scene. The logos of the two groups are also the same. Even the background and choreography of taking off the jacket is said to be the same as being done by the same director or producer.
Netizens believe that FOR7 intentionally copied GOT7’s MV, not a coincidence in the implementation of the idea.
Currently, FOR7 has just released the trailer, it is not clear whether the official MV will continue to be completely similar to GOT7’s MV. However, netizens are extremely fed up with the controversy surrounding FOR7 since the group’s debut until now debut.
A few days ago, FOR7 also received mixed opinions when releasing MV teaser photos. The poster is said to be quite similar to a concept photo that GOT7 once released. Even since the very first days of its debut, FOR7 has been repeatedly accused of plagiarizing GOT7’s concept.
