“The Glory” Cha Joo Young gives an in-depth description of her new character Jang Se Jin in the new family drama “The Real Has Come!” 

The actress is expected to show a brand new, and even different, charm as chief secretary Jang Se Jin. 

KBS 2TV’s new weekend drama “The Real Has Come!” (directed by Han Joon Seo, scripted by Cho Jung Joo, produced by Victory Contents) is a family drama about a fake marriage contract romance between a single mother and a non-married man over a baby on the way. 

Cha Joo Young visits the small screen as Jang Se Jin, a corporate chief secretary with a neat and elegant appearance. Jang Se Jin is not only thorough in self-management, but also manages the affairs of Gong Chan Sik’s (Hong Yo Seo) family. She is an attractive person with a calm personality.

Cha Joo Young revealed her reason for choosing the drama, “I chose the work because I wanted to challenge my long-established acting. The charm is that the scenario is written well and the relationship and story of each character are subtle.”

Towards her character, Cha Joo Young expressed “appropriately indifferent and moderately nice” attitude to Jang Se Jin, whose person is summed up in, “I’m not interested in everything, but I have a good ability to cope with the situation because I have various senses of being born.”

However, she explained the most important part of Jang Se Jin is “a sophisticated grown woman without overdoing.” The actress elaborated, “Jang Se Jin thinks that ‘knowing people well is also an ability,’” so Se Jin “does not go overboard in a given situation.”

Finally, when asked to describe her character in three words, Cha Joo Young picked “Neat,” “Clear,” and “Boundary.” She promised to “try to create a new character” as a wrap-up.

Cha Joo Young will transform into a new image in KBS 2TV’s new weekend drama “The Real Has Come!” premiered on March 25th at 8:05 p.m (KST).
