Boy group SEVENTEEN’s fans expressed their excitement about SEVENTEEN’s first dome tour.
SEVENTEEN will hold “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [BE THE SUN] – JAPAN” at Kyocera Dome, Osaka today (Nov 19th) and Nov 20th.
SEVENTEEN is meeting fans around the world with their third world tour “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [BE THE SUN]” in about 2 years and 4 months since their second world tour “ODE TO YOU” in 2019. Starting with a domestic concert at Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul in June, after completing the North American tour and the Asian arena tour, SEVENTEEN will embark on the Japanese dome tour in Osaka, Tokyo and Aichi from Nov 19th.
The area near the concert hall was crowded with fans from early morning. As the concert time approached, more and more fans gathered, proving SEVENTEEN’s overwhelming popularity.
When OSEN asked why Ai and Akito, whom OSEN met at Kyocera Dome, like SEVENTEEN, they replied, “Their songs are good. We like their songs. We went to the 2019 ‘ODE TO YOU’ live viewing at the recommendation of another friend. After the live viewing, we became interested in the group.”
They talked about SEVENTEEN’s popularity in Japan, “The general public in Japan seems to be aware of SEVENTEEN. Our company colleagues, who aren’t fans, also listened to SEVENTEEN’s ‘Not Alone’ and told us, ‘That song is good.’“
Besides, a mother in her 40s and her teenage daughter, who came to see the concert together, fell in love with SEVENTEEN after watching “GOING SEVENTEEN”, “SEVENTEEN PROJECT” and “One Fine Day” on YouTube.
The mother said, “I have one more daughter. The eldest daughter fell in love with SEVENTEEN first, before me and the youngest daughter. The eldest daughter didn’t win a ticket.”
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will hold “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [BE THE SUN] – JAPAN” at Tokyo Dome on Nov 26th~27th and Vantelin Dome Nagoya on Dec 3rd~4th. The urban concert play park “SEVENTEEN BE THE SUN THE CITY”, where various events are held throughout the city before and after the concert, has been held in 3 consecutive cities for the first time in HYBE’s “THE CITY” project, raising expectations from fans.
