On November 15, Wikitree reported that the male singer and CEO Kim Wang Bae has been convicted of harassing a female employee (referred to as A). According to sources, the artist born in 1984 was fined 3 million won and required to complete a 40-hour treatment program. Within the company, the male artist was also compelled by shareholders to resign after the shocking scandal. Previously, according to the court’s ruling, Kim Wang Bae was not prohibited from resuming his position after serving the penalty.

When A left the room briefly, the male singer, Kim Wang Bae, stood outside the door. When A returned and opened the door to enter, Kim Wang Bae immediately grabbed her waist and engaged in inappropriate behavior. The female employee resisted vigorously but was struck by Kim in the private area.

An employee under Kim’s supervision spoke out about Kim Wang Bae’s personality to the media: “He is very authoritarian, often using insulting language towards employees. Moreover, Kim Wang Bae always creates a fearful atmosphere in the company, enjoying putting immense pressure on subordinates.”

Faced with intense public criticism, Kim Wang Bae denied the allegations of sexual harassment of subordinates and filed an appeal.
