Global ambassador Jung Ho-yeon wore a custom-made dress by luxury brand Louis Vuitton at the 2022 SAG Awards.
Model and actress Jung Ho-yeon won Best Actress in a Drama Series at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) for her performance in Netflix’s global sensation ‘Squid Game’ on February 27. Jung Ho-yeon attended the SAG Awards wearing a Louis Vuitton custom-made dress and Louis Vuitton shoes, along with earrings and rings from Louis Vuitton High Jewelry Collection.
The dazzling and sophisticated Louis Vuitton button-front gown worn by Jung Ho-yeon was handcrafted using gorgeous silver beads and crystals on black jacquard silk. This embroidery features a geometric design that falls down naturally from the top of the dress, with embroidered braids on the edges and embroidered tulle and silver metal threads on its pockets.
The dress took a total of 210 hours to make, and was created after a meticulous process. Placing the silver beads, crystals and embroidery alone took an additional 110 hours. Jung Ho-yeon’s special hair accessory made from the same material as her dress was also put together in the same way in the workshops of Maison Louis Vuitton Vendôme in Paris.
Meanwhile, Korean actor Park Hae-soo, who attended the SAG Awards ceremony with Jung Ho-yeon, also wore a Louis Vuitton tuxedo.
