In particular, the drama was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble. In addition, actor Lee Jung-jae was listed as a nominee for Best Actor, and actress Jung Ho-yeon was nominated for Best Actress.

“Squid Game” is the first Korean drama to be nominated for the U.S Screen Actors Guild Award. This is also the first time that a non-English-speaking drama has received a nomination at the SAG. Squid Game” won Breakthrough Series at the Gotham Awards last year. Oh Young-soo won Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Globe held in January. The drama continued its winning march in the U.S by being selected as Bingeworthy Show at the People’s Choice Awards.
