Lee Yi-kyung Tries On Seoul National University Graduation Uniform, “I’ll Make CEO Father’s Dream Come True”
Actor Lee Yi-kyung will be wearing a graduation cap from the Seoul National University on “Hangout with Yoo”
MBC’s “Hangout with Yoo” broadcast on March 9th showed Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Joo Woo-jae, Park Jin-joo, Lee Yi-kyung, and Lee Mi-joo doing unpredictable batters after becoming the main characters of a Korean traditional fairy tale.
On the broadcast, Lee Yi-kyung visited Seoul National University (SNU) on a snowy day and met a group of SNU students because it was the graduation season. He carefully asked the students, “I heard graduation caps and clothes can be rented. My bag strap is quite short, so could you let me try it on once?”.
Wearing a graduation cap and uniform, Lee Yi-kyung took a photo in front of the iconic main gate of SNU. He smiles brightly while holding a bouquet of flowers as his friends, “Hangout with Yoo” members, appear to congratulate him on the graduation.
Revealing that he dropped out of high school and took the GED test to find what he wanted to do, Lee Yi-kyung confidently said, “I’ll make my father’s dream come true here!”, drawing laughter. Lee Yi-kyung’s father Lee Ung-beom was the former CEO for conglomerate L.
Sharing the precious moment with Lee Yi-kyung, the members said, “Yi-kyung ah, congratulations on your graduation”, “I knew you would make it”, etc., and sang a congratulatory song as if Lee Yi-kyung graduated for real. In addition, Lee Yi-kyung even enjoyed the graduation to the fullest by throwing the cap into the air.
