Lee Soon-jae, who played the role of Insu in “Hello”, an old man who is nearing his death but wants to study Korean to convey his feelings, said, “I want to ask the young lads for something” as he mentioned what he wanted to show through the movie, including the importance of life.

“I have said that celebrities are not public figures, but I also want to say that even though they are not public figures, they have the character of public figures. I’m not a public figure either, but I have the impact of a public figure. Because our every move has a social impact, especially on young friends, we have to follow the laws and regulations well first,” he said.

Later, Lee Soon-jae said he saw the news of actress Kim Sae-ron, who was caught drunk driving the previous day. Kim Sae-ron crashed into a transformer unit while driving in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul around 8 a.m. on May 18th. The police, who were dispatched after receiving a report, tried to measure her blood alcohol concentration, but Kim Sae-ron refused and expressed her intention to do a blood collection test. The accident has caused many inconveniences to citizens, including paralysis of nearby traffic signals and power cutoff.

Lee Soon-jae said, “Wasn’t there an accident news yesterday?” and added, “That should never happen. If you are dealing with the public, you should always be able to control yourself and be careful. I always have to think about the impact that I can have on society. We have to keep our self-control,” he said. He also reiterated, “Don’t put yourself on top of others just because you earn a lot of money and are popular, you should always be humble and grateful.”
