Lee Min-ki reportedly cast as male lead in “Hip”… Reunite with “My Liberation Notes” director Kim Seok-yoon

Actor Lee Min-ki is expected to reunite with director Kim Seok-yoon.

According to Sports Seoul on July 27th, Lee Min-ki was cast as the male lead in the new drama “Hip (working title)”.

Set in the countryside, “Hip” is a new work by director Kim Seok-yoon, who recently directed popular dramas “My Liberation Notes” and “The Light in Your Eyes”. Han Ji-min, who previously worked with director Kim in several works, was considered for the female lead.

Lee Min-ki, who contributed to the success of director Kim’s previous work “My Liberation Notes”, will also join. Expectations are high on the meeting of actors who have proven their excellent agreement as well as reliable acting skills.

Meanwhile, “Hip” aims to air in 2023. The formation is undecided.
