Lee Do Hyun fully immersed in his role and transformed into a cold-blooded prosecutor in his new drama “The Good Bad Mother”.
In the second episode of JTBC’s drama “The Good Bad Mother”, which aired on April 27th, Lee Do Hyun showcased a high level of immersion with his character, the “cold-blooded prosecutor” Choi Kang Ho.
Previously, Lee Do Hyun excellently portrayed the two sides of Kang Ho, going from a bright high school student to a cold-blooded person as he grew up.
As a young boy, Choi Kang Ho (Lee Do Hyun) was solely focused on his studies due to his harsh and strict “bad mother” Jin Young Soon (Ra Mi Ran). Later, he achieved his dream of becoming a prosecutor, but he was shown conspiring with Song Woo Byeok (Choi Moo Sung), the chairman of Woobyeok Group, who was involved in the death of his biological father, leaving viewers in deep shock.
Now, as the 2nd episode airs, Lee Do Hyun is fully immersed into the heartless side of Choi Kang Ho, who has no compassion. Kang Ho maintained a friendly relationship with Song Woo Byeok and did everything he could to cover up his corruption.
Before marrying Oh Ha Young (Hong Bi Ra), he faced opposition from his fiancée’s father Oh Tae Soo (Jung Woong In). Therefore, Kang Ho made a shocking proposal to Song Woo Byeok, who gave power to Oh Tae Soo, to accept him as his adoptive son.
Choi Kang Ho took advantage of Oh Tae Soo’s love affair with female adviser Hwang Soo Hyun (Ki Eun Se) to achieve his goal. After then, he unveiled his ruthless side when pushing the car carrying Hwang Soo Hyun inside into the sea.
Lee Do Hyun thrilled viewers by perfectly portraying a cold-hearted character with fierce eyes and firm expressions.
In particular, Choi Kang Ho, who decided to become Song Woo Byeok’s son, visited his mother Jin Young Soon to get her agreement on the adoption. He tried to hold back his tears when leaving behind his pitiful mother, showing his mixed feelings of resentment and anger.
However, Choi Kang Ho got hit by a truck at the end of episode 2, making viewers curious about the next developments.
JTBC’s drama “The Good Bad Mother” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30 p.m.
