Actress Lee Da In, who married singer and actor Lee Seung Gi, has spoken up regarding rumors of her alleged pregnancy.
On April 10th, Lee Da In’s agency, 9 Ato Entertainment dismissed the actress’ pregnancy rumors by stating, “The pregnancy rumors are not true at all.”
Previously on April 7th, Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In held their wedding ceremony at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The wedding ceremony, which was attended by numerous stars, including Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Soo Geun, Kang Ho Dong, Kim Nam Gil, Han Hyo Joo, and many more, was said to be reminiscent of an awards ceremony. It also cost an alleged 100 million won, sparking discussion.
In addition, Lee Da In drew attention by wearing three dresses on her wedding day, including an off-shoulder lace dress in the bride’s waiting room, a beaded dress at the main ceremony, and a see-through chiffon dress at the after-party.
Following the release of Lee Da In’s dress photos, some suggested that she wore a voluminous wedding dress to hide her belly and wore low heels despite the significant height difference with Lee Seung Gi, leading to rumors of premarital pregnancy.
The rumors gained traction when actress Lee Yoo Bi, Lee Da In’s sister, added a baby emoticon to her SNS post, which congratulated Lee Da In on her marriage.
In response, Lee Da In’s agency stated, “Lee Da In is currently in the midst of filming the new MBC drama ‘Lovers’,” denying the pregnancy rumors.
Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In will return to their work immediately after their wedding without going on a honeymoon. Lee Seung Gi is currently filming the movie “About Family”, and Lee Da In will return to the small screen later this year with “Lovers.”
