LE SSERAFIM’s team logo receives Main Prize at “Red Dot Design Awards 2022”

According to LE SSERAFIM‘s agency Source Music on August 12th, LE SSERAFIM’s team logo won the “Brand Design & Identity” main prize in the “Brand & Communication Design” category at the “Red Dot Design Awards 2022”.

The Red Dot Design Awards is a German international design contest established in 1955 and is considered one of the world’s three major design awards along with Germany’s “iF” and the U.S.’s “IDEA”. Each year, the award-winning works are selected by evaluating excellence, creativity and functionality in design in three categories: product design, design concept and brand & communication design.

LE SSERAFIM is an anagram (a word, phrase or name formed by rearranging the letters of another) of “IM FEARLESS”, which implies the girls’ self-confidence and strong will to move forward without the fear of being swayed by the gaze of the world.

The logo motion film, which was first unveiled through the YouTube channel “HYBE LABELS” on March 28th, became a hot topic with over 300,000 views in just 9 hours after its release, and recorded more than 1 million views as of 7 AM on August 12th.

The music video of LE SSERAFIM’s debut song “FEARLESS” reached 100 million views on August 9th, 100 days after their debut. On the same day, they charted in the U.S. Billboard chart for 14 consecutive weeks, the best performance among K-pop girl groups that debuted this year.
