LE SSERAFIM Yunjin “I joined the group as soon as I paid college tuition fee…I couldn’t get my money back”

LE SSERAFIM came to Brother School.

On the April 29th broadcast of JTBC’s “Knowing Bros“, LE SSERAFIM appeared as a guest.

As soon as LE SSERAFIM Sakura appeared, she drew attention as Kang Ho Dong’s “idol friend”. Kang Ho Dong showed off their friendship, “Sakura is my idol friend.” Hearing it, Lee Jin Ho said “Sakura belongs to Yoo line. When did you transfer to Yoo Jae Suk line?” and showed an evidence video. At that time, Sakura said through a video letter to Yoo Jae Suk, “I’m ready to transfer.”

LE SSERAFIM members promoted their new album “Unforgiven”. Before revealing the new song, the members performed a hit song medley.

Kang Ho Dong said, “Your expressions are different when you stand on stage and when you talk. Do you practice facial expressions separately?” Chaewon replied, “I practice in front of the mirror before going to bed.” Kim Hee Chul added, “Hyung (Kang Ho Dong), isn’t it different when you’re on entertainment shows and when you’re in wrestling matches?” Questions about Sakura continued. Sakura said, “I debuted as an idol in Japan in 2011. LE SSERAFIM is my third debut and it’s been 12 years since I became an idol.”

Kang Ho Dong introduced, “Sakura participated 3 times in Japan’s representative year-end music festival ‘Kohaku Uta Gassen’ as different groups.” Sakura boasted, “It’s difficult to just appear on ‘Kohaku Uta Gassen’, but LE SSERAFIM appeared there before our debut in Japan.” When asked to compare between appearing on Kang Ho Dong’s program “Just Come Out” and appearing on “Kohaku Uta Gassen”, Sakura caused laughter as she honestly answered, “‘Just Come Out’ is a bit lower.

Yunjin told the story of losing college tuition fee before her debut. Yunjin said, “I took the SAT in the United States and paid college admission fee. However, the day after I paid admission fee, the company contacted me, saying, ‘We want you to join LE SSERAFIM.’ I couldn’t get my tuition fee back.” She then surprised everyone at the scene by singing The Phantom Of The Opera’s “think of me” and revealed, “I learned musical and vocal music when I studied in the United States.”

Leader Chaewon boasted that she was popular in high school. Chaewon said, “Sometimes there were posts asking if I have a boyfriend on the anonymous bulletin board at Gaepo High School. Students came to my classroom to see my face.”

Kazuha, who did ballet for 15 years before becoming a girl group member, changed toe shoes and showed her ballet movements. Kazuha showed off her flexible body, starting with stretching. Kazuha recalled trainee days, “When I did ballet, I put strength on my core and raised my shoulders straight. So when I first learned Kpop dance, I was told that I was like a tree.”
