LE SSERAFIM caught lip-syncing at their first solo tour concert

The video showing LE SSERAFIM members lip-syncing at their first solo concert is spreading in online communities.

On August 12th, LE SSERAFIM held the first solo tour concert since their debut at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

That day, LE SSERAFIM performed various hit songs, including “Impurities”, UNFORGIVEN”, “Fire in the belly”, etc.

Although there were many spectacular performances, some fans expressed disappointment, pointing out that there was a stage where the members lip-synced.

Considering tickets for the concert were already quite expensive, (VIP seat 198,000 won, general seat 154,000 won), fans got angry that they had to watch a lip-synced performance despite paying lots of money.

A fan complained, “I know idols nowadays need to quickly go on a world tour, but they shouldn’t make people who paid over 150,000 won see a concert of 2 hours and 30 minutes with 50% talking and 50% performances”.

The fan criticized, “Since the group hasn’t released many songs, they talked more than performed and sang. Then how is it different from a fanmeeting?”

In addition, some expressed regret, saying “Idol concerts often have members’ individual stages or cover stages, but LE SSERAFIM’s concert had none of them”

On the other hand, some fans defended LESERAFIM, saying “They did only one lip-sync stage as a break time after singing many live performances continuously. The rest of the performances were all sung live.”

Netizens also showed divided reactions to LE SSERAFIM’s lip-sync performance. Some argued that there was no need to be angry about not performing live only once during the entire concert, but some expressed different opinions, saying “But they did have a break time during the concert, didn’t they?”, “If they considered it a break, they should rest for real”, etc.

Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will hold the second day of their solo concert at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium today (August 13th). After that, the girl group will perform in Nagoya (Aug 23-24), Tokyo (Aug 30-31), Osaka (Sep 6-7), Hong Kong (Sep 30-Oct 1), Jakarta (Oct 3), and Bangkok (Oct 7-8).
