Netizens show condolences for the passing of a Korean model, who attempted suicide while on air.
On June 18, Lim Ji Hye passed away after attempting suicide on livestream one week ago. An obituary was posted by her family on her social media accounts. Visitation will take place at 1 PM on June 21.
Previously, on June 11, Lim Ji Hye (also known as BJ Imvely) attempted suicide because she was not compensated for joining another streamer’s broadcast. She was brought to hospital in critical condition. On June 12, an acquaintance and fellow YouTuber revealed she allegedly went into cardiac arrest twice and was not doing well.
Lim Ji Hye is a model and streamer in Korea. She debuted as a pictorial model through a shoot with Maxim Magazine. Lim Ji Hye got married in 2014 and later divorced. She has two daughters.
