Imvely (Im Ji Hye), a former model turned BJ/streamer, is in a critical condition to the extent that it is difficult for her to return to daily life.
On June 12th, an acquaintance who claimed to have been close to Imvely and her younger sister since childhood did a live stream on YouTube.
Imvely’s acquaintance said, “I took Imvely’s parents to the hospital. The doctor said, ‘The golden time has passed.’ She had already experienced two cardiac arrests. There was even a cardiac arrest in the car on the way to the hospital.”
They continued, “I asked if Imvely could wake up and return to her daily life, and the doctor said, ‘If we had taken action within 5 minutes, it would have been possible, but in her current state, it seems difficult.’ He said that there was no more way to intervene and that she had to go to a bigger hospital.“
They also said, “If there is hope, there is a slight possibility of overcoming it because she is still young. But even that hope is slim. When her mother heard those words, she was really devastated.“
Earlier, on the previous day (June 11th), Imvely had a drinking session with other streamers. At that time, Imvely got into a verbal argument with some BJs and returned home to continue the live broadcast.
During the live broadcast, Imvely expressed resentment towards a specific BJ and then went into the bathroom. The broadcast ended with the appearance of paramedics breaking open the door and entering.
Imvely debuted as a male magazine model in 2006 and was once active as a racing model. In 2014, she discontinued her modeling activities due to marriage. Since then, she has been doing personal live broadcasts on platforms such as Afreeca TV and YouTube.
