Kim Tae Ri and Shin Hye Sun defeated, 1st place of “Top 10 Drama Actor” is?

According to data released by Good Data Corporation, the drama actor who earned who topped the week’s rankings is “this person”.

On June 29th, the “Drama TV Popularity Survey List” was announced by Good Data Corporation. The company compiles weekly TV popularity rankings and search reactions based on the results of netizens searching for TV programs, actors, and related issues on portal sites.

According to this announcement, the first place in the “Top 10 Drama Actors” rankings of the week went to Girls’ Generation member turned actress, Im Yoona, for her appearance in JTBC’s “King the Land”. Following Im Yoona is Lee Jun Ho (JTBC’s “King the Land”) in 2nd place, whilst the 3rd, 4th, and 5th places, belong to Kim Tae Ri (SBS’s “Revenant”), Shin Hye Sun (tvN’s “See You in My 19th Life”), and Lim Ji Yeon (ENA’s “Lies Hidden in My Garden”), respectively.

Meanwhile, in the “Top 10 TV Drama” rankings, JTBC’s “King the Land” landed in first place. It is followed by SBS’s “Revenant” in second place, tvN’s “See You in My 19th Life” in third place, KBS2’s “My Perfect Stranger” in fourth place, and MBC’s “Numbers” in fifth place.

JTBC’s drama “King the Land” depicts the story of Goo Won (played by Lee Jun Ho), a man who scoffs at fake smiles, and Cheon Sa Rang (played by Im Yoona), a bright employee who always smiles due to her nature and job. Together, they work towards a day where they can genuinely smile at the VVIP lounge “King the Land”, which is the dream of hoteliers.

At the initial broadcast, there were criticisms that the story of “King the Land” was somewhat predictable, and the writing was too cliché. However, the characters’ individual charms and explosive chemistry have compensated for any shortcomings.

On the other hand, “King the Land” is experiencing a rapid rise, ranking second in the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV category. According to the official Netflix Top 10 website on June 28th, JTBC’s “King the Land” recorded 17.5 million minutes of viewing time (June 19th to June 25th), swiftly climbing to the second spot in the Netflix Global Top 10 TV category (Non-English).
