With the final episode aired on January 21st, JTBC’s weekend drama ‘Welcome to Samdal-ri’ came to an end. Notably, Kim Tae-hee made a special cameo appearance.
Kim Tae-hee portrayed herself, a top star, who appears after receiving a call from Cho Sam-dal (Shin Hye-sun), the main character who returned to the entertainment industry after dispelling suspicions of bullying.
In the first episode of ‘Welcome to Samdal-ri’, Kim Tae-hee, a top star with a friendship with Cho Sam-dal, was mentioned by her real name.
Due to a model’s schedule mishap causing trouble for Cho Sam-dal, she urgently sent an SOS to Kim Tae-hee. Kim Tae-hee willingly responded to the request for help and visited the filming set.
Moved by Kim Tae-hee’s gesture, Cho Sam-dal expressed gratitude, and the filming staff was also touched.

The 16-episode journey concluded on January 21st. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of ‘Welcome to Samdal-ri’ recorded a peak viewership rating of 12.4%.
Kim Tae-hee’s cameo appearance was reportedly made possible thanks to her friendship with the writer Kwon Hye-joo of ‘Welcome to Samdal-ri.’
