On January 22, LE SSERAFIM group announced their comeback through the global fan platform Weverse. According to the official announcement, the upcoming mini-album “EASY” will candidly address the anxieties and concerns hidden behind LE SSERAFIM’s confident image.
The album will be released 9 months after LE SSERAFIM’s full-length album “UNFORGIVEN” in May of last year, raising expectations.
Simultaneously, a logo motion for the new album was posted on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel and the official SNS platforms of Source Music. The logo motion reconstructs the team’s logo into the simplest form, symbolizing an undivided unity. At the end of the video, the phrase “MAKE IT LOOK EASY” appears, with a strikethrough on “IT LOOK”, sparking curiosity about the meaning.
Source Music also introduced the album by stating, “‘EASY’ is an album that honestly tells the story of LE SSERAFIM’s anxieties and concerns hidden behind their confident appearance.”
On the other hand, LE SSERAFIM has consistently shown growth, achieving consecutive million-seller titles with their previous works “ANTIFRAGILE” and “UNFORGIVEN”.
Their English digital single “Perfect Night”, which was released in October last year, topped the month charts of major domestic music platforms, including Melon. It also entered the U.S. Billboard’s “Bubbling Under Hot 100” chart for two consecutive weeks.
In addition, LE SSERAFIM is set to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, a major music festival in the United States, on April 13 and 20 (local time).
