Kim Se-jeong received compliments for her acting as a sly woman in “A Business Proposal”, “She’s like the Korean version of Emma Stone”
Singer-actress Kim Se-jeong caught the attention of viewers with her sly acting in the blind date scene in “A Business Proposal”.
SBS-TV’s “A Business Proposal” aired its first episode on February 28th. Kim Se-jeong performed enthusiastically in the drama as Shin Ha-ri.
In this episode, Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se-jeong) received a request from her best friend Jin Young-seo (Seol In-ah) to do a part-time job. She had to get dumped by the guy on a blind date.
Shin Ha-ri dressed up gorgeously pretending to be Jin Young-seo and went to meet the man on the blind date. However, it turned out that the opponent was the CEO of her company Kang Tae-moo (Ahn Hyo-seop).
Shin Ha-ri was embarrassed, but she thought he wouldn’t recognize her. Therefore, she began acting slyly by doing some behaviors that men might dislike.
She tried to be sexy and acted as if she were a wealthy girl by calling her luxury bag “baby”. She exaggerated everything, from her facial expressions to gestures.
However, Kang Tae-moo showed his interest in Shin Ha-ri, so her plan to get dumped eventually failed.
Kim Se-jeong’s natural acting when playing the sly character Shin Ha-ri in this scene drew laughter. Netizens praised her performance and even commented, “She’s like the Korean version of Emma Stone”.
