“A Business Proposal”: What did Kim Se Jeong say about the first time meeting the Ahn Hyo Seop?

The “A Business Proposal” couple Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Se Jeong shared their first impressions of each other.

The online press conference for SBS’s new drama “A Business Proposal” was held on the afternoon of February 25th. Director Park Sun-ho, actors Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Se-jeong, Kim Min-kyu, and Seol In-ah attended the event and talked about various things related to the drama.

On this day, Ahn Hyo-seop explained his character, saying, “I play Kang Tae-moo, a 3rd-generation chaebol and CEO of a food company. He looks cold and arrogant on the outside, but the personality of a childish boy still exists inside him”.

Kim Se-jeong, who appears in “A Business Proposal” as Shin Ha-ri, a researcher at Kang Tae-moo’s food company, shared, “My character is a researcher at a food company, so she enjoys and loves eating. After meeting the CEO on a blind date, many unexpected things happen”.

At the request of her friend Jin Young-seo (Seol In-ah), Shin Ha-ri goes on a blind date as a part-time job. She suddenly meets Kang Tae-moo, CEO of her company, and is even made to sign a “romance” contract.

Regarding his chemistry with Kim Se-jeong, Ahn Hyo-seop said, “To compliment Se-jeong, there are many. She is brighter than I thought. She’s a person who always appears with a smile and gives positive energy”, adding, “I think it created a synergy effect because I also like positive things. Se-jeong is sincere, considerate, and has great acting skills. She’s really the best partner.”

Ahn Hyo-seop continued to compliment Kim Se-jeong. He added, “I think that was my first impression about Se-jeong. She’s very bright, cheerful, and pretty. I could feel that not only her appearance but also her personality is very lovely”.

Upon hearing this, Kim Se-jeong responded, “I felt the same way. Actor Ahn Hyo-seop is really optimistic. He often says, ‘Let’s do things faithfully and do our best in what we are given’”, adding, “We often had to stay up all night at the filming site and there were many difficult moments, but I loved working with him and felt happy during the filming because both of us tried to spread positive energy together.”

SBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “A Business Proposal” tells a thrilling office romance between a ‘face genius’ CEO and his female employee who lies about her identity. The drama was created based on the web novel and webtoon of the same name on Kakao Page and will air its first episode at 10 P.M on February 28th.
