Kim Hieora made her acting debut in the musical “Jack the Ripper” in 2009, and later starred in various other stage productions such as “The Last Empress”, “Notre Dame de Paris”, “Rebecca” and “The Phantom of the Opera”.

Kim Hieora made her TV debut in 2021 with a role in the detective drama “Beyond Evil”, and later assumed a role in “Hospital Playlist 2”.

Kim Hieora bullying scandal

In 2023, just as “The Uncanny Counter” finished airing, Dispatch unveiled Kim Hieora’s past on being involved with a notorious gang at Sangji Girls’ High School, known for stealing money, violence, and verbal abuse.

As a result, the actress faced various consequences, from having to withdraw from an acting project to canceling schedules. 

Criticisms against Kim Hieora also intensified as her past remark about school bullying during “The Glory” resurfaced, and her planned appearance as a school-bullying-related character on “SNL Korea 4” also came under fire. 

In response, Kim Hieora issued an apology towards fans, but at the same time clarified her involvement in school bullying and announced legal action against malicious rumors.
