aespa Karina’s Chinese fanbase Karina Bar has announced that they will boycott against purchasing aespa’s albums and merchandise if SM Entertainment fails to treat Karina with the respect she deserves.
Instead, Karina Bar plans to direct their financial support solely towards Karina’s solo activities.
Expressing their concerns, Karina Bar lament SM’s apparent disregard for Karina, questioning how many times the company has neglected fans’ feedback.
In response, Karina Bar has vowed to cease all official links and sales activities associated with the company, redirecting their focus exclusively towards supporting Karina.
A week ago, Karina Bar sent protest trucks to the front door of SM Entertainment’s headquarters, demanding safer stage outfits for Karina, a response to and guidance on the report of malicious comments on Kwangya 119, improvements in content upload timeliness and completeness, and optimal styling for Karina.
Furthermore, recent report of Karina’s romantic relationship with actor Lee Jae Wook has only served to deepen fans’ conviction that SM Entertainment is failing to adequately protect Karina.
